金燕子，2002年7月毕业于我校化学系，现在西南大学材料与能源学院任教，博士，讲师。2013年8月至2017年10月在安康学院任教，2017年11月至今在重庆西南大学任教。                

主讲课程有物理化学、材料制备新技术、材料物理基础实验等。主要研究领域、方向为运用量子化学计算方法，研究过渡金属活化小分子在不同自旋态势能面交叉点处自旋-轨道耦合作用促进下的电子自旋翻转行为，并通过非绝热跃迁理论，计算系间窜越几率。专利《种环境响应型石墨烯杂化材料的制备方法》， 授权日期2016年8月。
